Global Market: : During the month of May 2024 – US markets has closed with gains, Dow Jones up 1.2%, S&P 500 up by 4.21% & Nasdaq up 5.64%. In Europe FTSE was up by 1.26%. Nikkei up 0.68% The MSCI World Index gained 4.2% in May, led by both developed markets (+4.7%) and emerging markets (0.3%). Global equities made gain in May, driven partly by slowing consumer price growth in the US. The US CPI met consensus expectations, breaking a three-month streak of surprising on the upside. Fed may look for more evidence of declining inflation.
